In June, 1971, Steamatic was started as a division of Tile Specialists. Keith McFall started as a technician in 1981. After learning many new ideas from his time in the field, Keith decided to purchase the company in 1994 with vision and a purpose. As the years passed, Steamatic continually grew under Keith’s leadership. What started as a carpet and tile cleaning company evolved into a full-scale restoration operation — with the ability to restore homes from water, fire, and mold damage.
In 2022, Keith decided to sell the franchise and start his own operation — Steam Specialists. Armed with 40+ years of expertise and the freedom to operate as a private owner, Keith and the Steam Specialists team are excited to serve the growing community of Champaign-Urbana and surrounding areas.
